A Welcome Letter from Gary Tse
IAP Bulletin Editor
A warm welcome to all members and friends of IAP and all our readers. Prof. Shivayogi Bhusnurmath has recently stepped down from the editorship of this bulletin after serving for five years, and I am honored to take up this role.
Our quarterly publication will highlight to our readership key activities among various divisions of IAP globally, major international events, and meetings of special interest. As we enter the normalized period post COVID, many interesting physical meetings are being organized by our divisions. In alignment with the aim of IAP on pathology education, the Bulletin will devote space towards different aspects of pathology education globally, highlighting common issues and novel ideas. Close coordination with the education committee of IAP will ensure future editions bring the latest updates and previews of exciting future events.
This issue highlights details of the long awaited international meeting in Cancun this fall. There is also a detailed and insightful article on pathology education for medical students by Shivayogi Bhusnurmath that will no doubt be of interest to educators, meeting organizers and pathologists.
Enjoy this new edition of our Bulletin.
Feedback and suggestions for future issues are warmly appreciated.
