PAGE- Pathology Lecture series online for postgraduate trainees in pathology

The alumni of the pathology department of Postgraduate Institute of Medical education and Research, Chandigarh, India have embarked on an ambitious mission to provide a systematic online education to pathology postgraduate trainees across the globe. They have been delivering a lecture on every alternate Wednesday at 9 PM Indian standard time on various important topics in surgical pathology, hematology, cytology and clinical pathology. The lectures can be accessed free of cost live through YouTube. The audience can ask questions and the lectures including the questions and answers are archived and made available free of cost to any one interested for all times to come.
The lecture series is named PAGE- PGI Pathology Alumni Global education Endeavour.
The Pathology Alumni recognized the need for these lectures because of the lack of proper faculty and teaching resources in many centers in India and globally. This is an effort to give back to the learner community what the Alumni gained over the decades by the excellent training facilities and faculty at PGIMER, Chandigarh. The advent of Covid lock downs and the springing up of on line platforms for teaching provided the right footing for this venture at the right time. It is hoped that over a period of few years the repository will include a comprehensive list of topics of good utility for the pathology residents. There is a conscious effort to make these presentations case based and problem solving.
